Busy Day or Lockdown due to Covid-19
No time for exercise? Not allowed to go out during the virus? No problem! Try a quick bed time routine (3 minutes) and morning stretch routine (less than 3 minutes) that will boost metabolism and tone your whole body from Lucy Wyndham-read! Do these routines upon waking up and before going to bed! You can find a lot of energy boosting and simple workouts on YouTube.
HIIT in particular is a good way to start your day if you want to lose weight. A short impact of High Intensity Interval Training is what you need to tone your body as well as to burn calories even after the workout is finish.
Find more about these workouts that you can search in YouTube, plus more tips aside from this post: https://eilahblogshop.blogspot.com/2019/01/ways-to-exercise-and-my-youtube-trainers_11.html?m=1
Remember, you don’t have to exercise everyday. Doing long durations doesn’t mean it’s better too. It’s all about how you incorporate your exercise routine to your daily lifestyle. If you do short workouts during the work week, continue it on the weekend. If you missed an exercise during the work week, add another workout aside from your usual routine in the weekend. It’s all about balance. Also, workout more if you eat more calories.
Rest Day
Clean around the house. Think about it as an exercise too. You can burn extra calories doing light cleaning. It’s a win- win situation, a clean home and a fit body sounds great!
Relax and enjoy the rest of your day off afterwards.
Eating Habits
If you’re on a strict diet and you use a calorie app to track the calories you eat, it doesn’t have to be that exact goal. For example, your goal is 1,200 per day. You don’t have to eat the exact calories or less to meet that goal. Eating an extra more calories won’t hurt, as well as having a cheat day won’t hurt. When in fact, this would help you not to over eat. If you prevent to eat something for so long, you might end up eating the whole pack instead of just a few bites.
If tracking your calorie intake is something you hate doing, just try to eat less. Stop eating when you feel full.
Another good eating habit is to keep track whether you’re eating good or bad within a day. For instance, if you decided to eat junk foods for today because that’s what your craving, try and eat healthy on the next day. Again it’s about balance. Eat unhealthily today, eat only healthy food and drinks for tomorrow.
UPDATE: I am now fasting every single day! It’s great since I get to eat whatever I want.
